My baby Nama is super sick. She gets these flare ups of super bad upset belly that send her into a tailspin cocktail of air licking and PICA. Our vets don’t know what is going on with her, so there’s a lot of trial and error to comfort her. So far our guesses are Pancreatitis, Addisons and the one I really think: a Hiatal Hernia… ugh.

And if you’re here, you know I like to use nature the best I can do ease symptoms and/or cure the issue.

All we can do is try.

Below is trial 4,357 of trying to figure out Nama’s mystery illness and to ease her symptoms.

Double Duty Ginger Tea for Dogs (works for people too!)

1 Can organic coconut milk
1/2 fresh ginger root, sliced
1 tablespoon Slippery Elm Bark Powder
1 Teaspoon Ginger Powder
1 drop Ginger Essential Oil (Optional)

Instructions:
Mix ingredients and simmer for ten minutes to turn into a tea. Serve to your dog room temperature. I give my dog about 1/4 cup every few hours and she weighs 63 pounds.
